Workshops

The purpose of workshops is to provide a more interactive and focused platform for presenting and discussing new and emerging ideas. The format of paper presentations may include oral presentations, poster presentations, keynote lectures and panels. Depending on the number of presentations, workshops can be scheduled for 1 day or 2 days. All accepted papers will be published in a special section of the conference proceedings book, under an ISBN reference, and on digital support. All papers presented at the conference venue will be available at the SCITEPRESS Digital Library. SCITEPRESS is a member of CrossRef and every paper is given a DOI (Digital Object Identifier). The proceedings are submitted for indexation by SCOPUS, Google Scholar, The DBLP Computer Science Bibliography, Semantic Scholar, Microsoft Academic, Engineering Index (EI) and Conference Proceedings Citation Index.

Workshop proposals are accepted until:

Scope

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is devoted to creating intelligent software and hardware that imitates the human mind. The main goal of AI is to make computers smarter by creating software that will allow a computer to mimic some of the functions of the human brain in selected applications. Applications of AI technology include; general problem solving, knowledge engineering(KE), expert systems, information mining, natural language processing, computer vision, robotics, law, education, and healthcare. This workshop discusses the recent trends of AI and KE paradigms for developing intelligent healthcare and smart bio-medical systems. The workshop will provide a forum for the exchange of ideas between physicians and computer scientists, and knowledge engineers to address the essential issues in those areas.
